    Academic Highlights

For the 2010-11 school year, Ballentine Elementary was a School of Distinction and met expected growth. We have a staff who works collaboratively to help each student achieve academic progress. Focused instructional remediation and enrichment time is built into our daily schedule to help us provide differentiated instruction. Our school community, including our PTA and volunteers, functions as a collaborative team to meet the needs of our students. A one week Track-out program, “Camp GLOW,” is currently offered for each track-out session. The camp provides an opportunity for remedial instruction for targeted students. Frequent enrichment opportunities are also provided at the class and grade levels. We want all students to remain engaged in instruction each day and to be highly qualified for the future.
