    Description

The Brooks Museums Magnet Elementary school community believes that students learn best in an environment that engages students, stimulates understanding, and encourages students to take responsibility for their own learning.

At Brooks, we believe that students are the "Architects of Their Own Learning".

Our museums approaches to learning are grounded in the North Carolina Standard Course of Study which encourages and utilizes children's natural curiosity. At Brooks Museums Magnet Elementary School, students demonstrate their understanding and integration of curricular objectives through exhbited projects, Paideia Seminars, and real world community connections.
