Description

Hodge Road Elementary is a two-track,year-round school located in Knightdale, North Carolina. Our mission is to educate all students to be productive and responsible citizens who are prepared for the 21st century.

Hodge Road Elementary continues to focuses on student growth with great success. Teachers use research based practices that encourage students' growth in all academic areas. The staff collaborates to build safe and supportive relationships with students. Classrooms are interactive with technology and hands-on activities and the students and teachers are actively engaged in the learning process.

We are a Positive Behavior Intervention School (PBIS). Hodge Road Elementary is proud to have been recognized at the State level for our implementation of this program.

The staff at Hodge Road Elementary collaborates regularly in Professional Learning Teams (PLT) to create assessments and study data to develop rigorous instructional lessons that are aligned with the North Carolina Standard Course of Study. Hodge Road Elementary has a number of resource personnel to support our students. We offer a 3-5 Panther Academy, K-5 ESL Track Out Academy, Academically and Intellectually Gifted program and daily intervention to meet the needs of all students.

At Hodge Road Elementary, we feel that parent participation is the key the a successful student. We encourage parents to volunteer and participate in school activities. Our PTA and community partners collaborate throughout the year to sponsor activities for students and their families. We welcome parents to our campus.
