Description

The International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP) emphasizes academic challenges, international understanding, community service, and mental and physical well-being. The PYP seeks to develop the total child by addressing intellectual, social, physical, emotional and cultural needs. The curriculum framework includes five essential elements - concepts, actions, skills, knowledge and attitudes.

All stakeholders embody our mission of being, "A family of lifelong learners committed to developing international citizens and academic excellence through inquiry." At Millbrook, we know that learning may begin in books, but it continues to the edge of a child's imagination. If your child is asking big questions that demand complex answers, the PYP supports your inquirer. Students gain the confidence to act and to discover how their actions can make a difference.
