The Language Arts Success Series is designed to review skills previously learned in class and to provide additional practice.
What does it mean to have power? Power means to have qualities, especially mental qualities, to do something or get something done. In school and life, you are constantly asked to get things done. Frequently these tasks include specific language. We will call this language Power Words. Understanding exactly what these words are asking you to do will in fact, give you power. This series of videos offers instruction and practice with Power Words.
Please print out the handouts prior to viewing each of the videos, and be prepared to pause the video so you can practice the featured skill. Embrace these words and you will have the power to be successful.
